Katie Boyd of Hoover, Alabama was crowned Miss Tombigbee 2007. Katie attended the University of Alabama and was a dance and communicative disorders major. Katie upon graduation started McWhorter’s School of Pharmacy at Samford University. Not only did Katie win Miss Tombigbee 2007 but was also the swimsuit and talent award winner that afternoon. Katie dances ballet en pointe and her personal platform is Take 5: an underage anti smoking campaign. Congratulations to Katie who placed 3rd Runner Up at Miss Alabama 2007, was the Pinkham Award Winner, the Nora Chapman Award, Prelim Talent Winner and 1st Runner Up to the Miss Alabama Community Service Award.
